“Discovering the truth about ourselves is a lifetime’s work, but it’s worth the effort!” — Fred Rogers

About Elizabeth…

For more than 17 years, I have worked with teens, young adults, and adults struggling with a variety of concerns including anxiety, depression, life transitions, self-esteem, interpersonal/relationship concerns, adjustment issues, and career development. I utilize both a client-centered approach and cognitive behavioral techniques to create an environment that is warm and non-judgmental, where clients feel comfortable examining their mindsets and how their thoughts impact their feelings.

I received my bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Miami University and my Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from University of Akron. In addition to my work as a therapist, I have also worked as a career counselor at the University of Pittsburgh and an adjunct professor of Psychology at CCAC and Point Park University. In my spare time, I enjoy playing tennis, reading, baking, and spending time with my family & friends- especially at the beach.
